Armor-IIMAK Launches AXR 600UW, a Brighter Opaque White Resin
Armor-IIMAK’s new AXR 600UW builds on the AXR 600W with stronger white opacity, faster printing and a 4 µm film that cuts plastic waste by 12%.
Armor-IIMAK has introduced AXR 600UW, an opaque white resin ribbon for printing on dark and difficult substrates, where a standard white ribbon struggles to give enough contrast. Announced on June 11, 2026, it builds on the proven AXR 600W and is produced on a 4 µm PET film.

- Stronger white opacity, for brighter whites and sharper contrast on dark materials.
- Faster printing, to keep pace on industrial lines.
- A 12% reduction in plastic waste, thanks to its 4 µm PET base film.
Armor-IIMAK’s own example pairs it with Flexcon ThermlFilm PM 300 Black, a black label stock where white print stands out.
Where it fits
Armor-IIMAK suggests AXR 600UW for rating plates, flexible packaging and durable industrial labeling. It works in both flat-head and near-edge printers, so it drops into mixed fleets. As with any white ribbon, Armor-IIMAK recommends testing on your own substrates, especially to judge opacity.
