Print Performance

7 ips at 203 dpi
Prints at 7 inches per second (178 mm/s) across a 4.25" (108 mm) print width — enough for continuous shipping, picking and retail label runs rather than occasional one-offs.
Labels up to 400 inches
Handles label lengths from 0.12" (3 mm) up to 400" (10,160 mm), so long-format tags and continuous receipts print in a single pass.
No ribbon to stock
Direct thermal printing means no ribbon at all — fewer consumables to hold and nothing to change mid-run. Suited to short-life labels such as shipping, picking and date-coded stock.

Memory and Software

16 GB of onboard flash
16 GB of flash with 12 GB free for user storage, alongside 512 MB of SDRAM — room for large label formats, fonts and graphics stored on the printer rather than resent with every job.
Prints PDF documents
The DT4x Pro accepts PDF documents directly, which removes the conversion step for systems that already generate documents as PDFs.
Four languages, auto-switching
EZPL, GEPL, GZPL and GDPL with automatic switching, so the printer can be dropped into an installation built around another vendor’s command set without reworking the host application.
Drivers and design software
GoLabel II label design software (EZPL), Windows, macOS and Linux drivers, and SDKs covering .NET, Android and iOS.

Connectivity and Handling

Three interfaces as standard
USB 2.0 (B-Type) with a USB host port, RS-232 serial and 10/100 Mbps Ethernet are all fitted as standard — no interface card to specify at order time.
Media handling
Takes rolls up to 5" (127 mm) in diameter on 1" or 1.5" cores, from 1" to 4.65" wide, with gap, black mark and punched-hole sensing.
Dealer-installed options
A cutter module and a label dispenser are available as dealer-install options, with an external unwind stand and external rewinder for larger rolls.
