Stainless Steel Enclosure

IP69K stainless steel enclosure
GoDEX lists every HDAS model with a stainless steel enclosure rated IP69K, and sells door and cover gaskets as spare parts.
Waterproof control panel
Operators work from a 3.2" backlight waterproof touchscreen LCD with an audible alert, a power on/off button, a FEED / PAUSE / CANCEL key and a calibration button at the rear panel.
Internal heater
The H configurations add a preinstalled internal heater. GoDEX gives the operating range with the heater as approximately 32°F to 104°F (0°C to 40°C), depending on the overall environment, and also sells a heater upgrade kit.

Industrial Print Engine

The ZX1000Xi+ platform inside
HDAS2 is built on the GoDEX ZX1200Xi+ at 203 dpi and 14 ips; HDAS3 on the ZX1300Xi+ at 300 dpi and 10 ips.
Large media and ribbon capacity
Takes 8" (203.2 mm) label rolls on cores up to 3" (76.2 mm), with ribbons up to 1476 ft (450 m).
Dispenser and rewinder
The R configurations add a label dispenser with an internal liner rewinder. GoDEX’s price list rows say GoDEX install only, while its specification page lists the dispenser as dealer install, so confirm.

Integration

Four interfaces as standard
USB 2.0, a USB host port, RS-232 serial and 10/100 Ethernet, with an applicator interface and a dealer-installed parallel port adaptor as options. GoDEX also sells a WiFi / Bluetooth Low Energy combo module.
Ribbons
HDAS printers take wax, wax/resin and resin ribbons; match the ribbon and label stock to the application. See the GoDEX stock ribbon line or the specialty ribbons for widths the stock list does not carry.
