GoDEX MX30+ direct thermal mobile printer

A 3-inch direct thermal mobile printer for receipts and labels — 1.5 lbs with the battery, rated IP54 in its soft case, tested to a 1.5 metre drop, and connecting over WiFi and Bluetooth Low Energy 5.0.

Built to be Carried

1.5 lbs, battery included

1.5 lbs (680 g) with the battery fitted, and 6.77" long. GoDEX sells a protective case and shoulder strap for it as an option.

IP54 and a 1.5 metre drop rating

Rated IP42 bare and IP54 in its soft case — dust protected and shielded from splashing water — and specified to survive a drop from 1.5 metres.

Rechargeable battery

A rechargeable 7.4V lithium-ion pack rated 3300 mAh, with a battery level indicator on the printer and an optional 4-bay battery charger station. GoDEX publishes no runtime per charge.

Printing

3-inch direct thermal at 4 ips

203 dpi across a 2.8" (72 mm) print width at 4 inches per second, on media from 1.55" to 3.15" wide.

Receipts and labels

Handles direct thermal receipt stock, anti-UV receipt stock and gap labels, with centre alignment and a 2-4 mm inter-label gap (3 mm preferred). Rolls up to 2.35" (60 mm) on a 0.5" core.

Printer languages

GPOS simulation, or EZPL, GEPL, GZPL and GDPL with automatic switching.

Connectivity and Support

WiFi and Bluetooth LE 5.0

A combo module gives 802.11 b/g/n WiFi and Bluetooth Low Energy 5.0, with USB 2.0 Type C for configuration and charging.

Mobile SDKs

SDKs for Android and iOS alongside .NET and Windows, with drivers for Windows, macOS and Linux and GoLabel II for label design.
